Ghalib Hammani, better known by his stage name Ghalib Show, is one of Algeria’s most iconic DJs and music producers. With a passion for music that began at a young age, Ghalib’s journey is a testament to hard work, creativity, and an undying love for the art of sound.

Early Beginnings: A Musical Prodigy..

From the age of five, Ghalib’s musical path was set. He began his studies at the Algerian Conservatory, learning piano and immersing himself in the fundamentals of music. However, it wasn’t until the age of 14, when he began working alongside the legendary DJ Chafik, that Ghalib’s true passion for electronic music took flight. At just 16, he organized the first themed event in Algiers, the debut edition of what would become a long-running series of ‘White Parties’ in Raïs Hamidou, selling out from its very first night.

The Rise to Fame: "Ghalib Show" and International Recognition..

His talent as a DJ and producer was making such an impact that Coca-Cola’s marketing team selected him for their Summer Tour, supporting the brand’s official launch in Algeria in 2001, It was on this tour, aboard a white and red float, that Algerians were introduced to the sounds of DJ Ghalib. His undeniable presence reached the airwaves when Radio El Bahdja discovered him and offered him a position as a host, he was the first Dj playing live in the Algerian Radio. everyday of the week between 4 and 6 Pm.

In the same year, Ghalib organized Rapattack, the first-ever Rap music festival in Algeria, held at the Harcha Hall. The event was a massive success, featuring more than 50 rappers, 20 DJs, and drawing an audience of over 7,000 people. This success set the stage for Ghalib’s future ventures. He went on to create Bombman Universe, a music label that became synonymous with his high-quality, perfectionist approach to music and events.

Fête de la Musique and International Success..

Recognized internationally, Ghalib has performed at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including Pacha Ibiza, Amnesia  and the VIP Room of Cannes. He even accompanied Lady Marmalade for her 2010 New Year’s Eve performance. His influence continued to grow with the organization of the Fête de la Musique for the first time in Algeria in 2010, which attracted over 14,000 spectators. The event was such a success that in 2012, Ghalib hosted a second edition with an international lineup that included more than 50 international artists like Deborah Deluca, Roy Mclaren, and Dj Kim, performing for 24 hours non-stop at La Corne d'Or in Tipaza, drawing over 30,000 attendees.

Chart-Topping Success: Music and Collaborations..

Alongside organizing large-scale international events, Ghalib developed his own signature concepts, such as "To the Club,"which went on to sell over 500,000 physical copies in Algeria. He also participated in the Spinnin' Records Talent Pool with his track “Something to Believe In,” produced in collaboration with the famous Rap producer FIFO, and ranked 6th in the competition.

From his roots in the Algerian underground music scene, where he is widely regarded as the pioneer for being the first to organize underground music events such as "Underground Casif'', ''Underground Lovers'', ''RedRoom'', ''Booth'' etc,  that opened doors for countless emerging talents, he has carved out a unique space for himself, offering total creative freedom and inspiring others to follow their own path. As he continues to redefine the boundaries of music and entertainment, Ghalib remains a force to be reckoned with in the global music industry.

Ksar Lalla: A Landmark in Algerian Luxury and Hospitality..

In 2017, Ghalib took a bold step in expanding his influence by creating Ksar Lalla, a luxurious resort in Algiers. With its elegant design and world-class facilities, Ksar Lalla quickly became one of the premier event venues in Algeria, attracting high-profile guests and hosting some of the country’s most prestigious events. The resort’s success highlighted Ghalib’s diverse talents, blending hospitality, entertainment, and luxury in a unique setting. Over the years, Ksar Lalla has become a regular hotspot for international superstars, with frequent guests including artists like Soolking and DJ Snake, further cementing the resort's reputation as a go-to venue for elite events and gatherings.

A Visionary Producer..

In 2025, Ghalib made the decision to return to music production with a new vision and stronger commitment than ever before. He invested in building a professional music studio, made a degree in sound engineering, and joined the prestigious Tomorrowland Academy to refine his craft in music production.

Since then, He has released several singles that reflect his unique blend of energy, emotion, and innovation. Tracks like “Kere”, which entered the Apple Music France Top 50, as well as “Go Down,” “Werire,” Fashion Avenue'' and the hit “Bouna” have established his sound across different audiences and platforms.

Today, he is fully focused on pushing boundaries in electronic music, his latest hit ‘Bouna’ is making waves worldwide, from clubs and radio stations across the globe to charting No.6 on Apple Music France, No.18 on Traxsource, and reaching No.25 on Beatport’s Hype List.

Ghalib’s story is one of creativity, innovation, and perseverance. He has redefined the limits of music and entertainment, he's currently preparing a spectacular opening show for Dubai’s most sought-after New Year’s Eve celebration at Cloud 22, atop the iconic Atlantis The Royal, in collaboration with The VIP Dubai.
